What is facial reflexology?
Facial
Reflexology
can be defined as a reflex technique based on the neuro bio-chemical action resulting
from the stimulation of an area or point on the face which has a general or
partial effect on various areas of the entire body. Facial Reflexology is based
on seven steps that involve the observation and stimulation of various facial
areas.
How
is Facial Reflexology different from Foot Reflexology?
Foot Reflexology works
on the theory that every organ has a corresponding reflex area in the feet
that, when stimulated, can strengthen the body functions, increasing the blood
flow in the body.
Facial Reflexology works
through the stimulation of the many nerve endings in the skin of the face and
is able to stimulate the performance of the entire body. There are different
micro systems that, like a keyboard related to the brain, send information to
the organs, functions and body areas.
Facial Reflexology can
be combined with other therapeutic methods, but is a very effective technique
that can be used alone.
